April 16th marked their first date, and sparks flew from that very first cup of coffee. Both Erin and Rick were eager to meet each other after long talks via text message and phone calls. Both nervously arrived at their local coffee joint, nervous and curious to see how they would hit it off. Coffee was consumed and chatter resounded. Soon they were making plans for lunch that very Saturday. Lunch turned into two dinners the next week, and thing began to get serious. On April 25th, Rick took Erin to Seattle for an unforgettable date, complete with a ride on the giant Ferris wheel and of course a trip to the top of the space needle. Their Seattle trip marked their “official” stamp as boyfriend and girlfriend 🙂
Being as Erin is my darling youngest sister, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to photograph them. On a trip out to Vancouver, we lucked out and snagged a rain-free day (so rare in the PNW). They humored me as I had them tromp around the Columbia River shoreline, and the results are just stunning!
Here are a few favorites from the afternoon’s session!
